Dear guests
Having grown up in
the restaurant business, I was taught to appreciate good,
well prepared food from an early age. I also had the opportunity
to travel a great deal and as such became an enthusiast for
a great variety of culinary traditions. However, it was here
in France that my love of good food was confirmed. From Normandy
to Lyon to here in the south, I was equally inspired by the
rich diversity of French regional cuisine as I was by the
consistency with which the French turned dining on even the
simplest of fare into a pleasurable experience. It is this
tradition which I aim to capture when welcoming guests to
our dining table.
All of our menus are
chosen to largely incorporate seasonal ingredients from the
locality. They are set menus though I am happy to take account
of any special dietary requirements and offer a vegetarian
option if desired. All are accompanied by wines produced here
in the village of Montblanc, many of which have won gold and
silver medals in recent years. Here are a few sample menus.
